What Is a Raiderette?

Because of her burning internal fire.

In every boy's shining eye, she is the gleam

That inspires every man to reach his impossible dream.

With the resounding crescendo of her cheers,

She exults one and all to overcome their fears.

What she gives goes far beyond the game

And she will do her best--even without the fame.

Although on the field, she rarely shares the glory,

What she brings to the game is a well-told story.

Even though she is often cheering in the star's shadow,

It does not in any way diminish her bravado.

Something much more than a cheerleader;

This rare beauty is a world-beater.

And because she has resolved to be a Raiderette,

Her values and her goals must be fully and firmly set.

Beauty of mind and personality,

She encompasses the perfect duality.

When her history is recorded through the ages,

It shall be written: "Her charm is contagious."

Now we know what Adam did conceive,

When on that day, he first saw his Eve.

But no matter how far or wide she may explore,
