By Larry Garcia 10/25/11 Raiderdrive-BayAreaSportsDrive had the opportunity to ask the fans in Silver & Black what their thoughts were of new QB Palmer. Will he be the leader in the Silver & Black? Giving up a first and second for year one and two? Could Palmer be the Factor that the Raiders need? Would Mr. AL Davis have approved? As the movie with John Travolta Chili Palmer—Cool-calm and collective took care of business in the line of fire if the money was right. But in the end, Chili Palmer did what he felt was right in his heart and walked off into the sunset as a winner.
Dain (left photo-2nd-right): I think that the Palmer trade was good. We had to go get him. Hey, if the guy Jason Campbell goes down then the next man up. We go get the next guy out there that can do the job and Palmer is the man with experience under his belt who knows how to win. He’s worth it! I’m a Raider for life!
